Virtual Patients have been the original tool used in the project for demonstrating the benefits of e-Learning in the medical context.
A Virtual Patient can be used to represent a clinical scenario and clinical decision making. The benefits of using Virtual Patients extend to being able to practice decision making without risk to any patients, as well as being able to re-visit the cases as many times as required.
